Saturday started out great! With a huge autograph party in the fan walk almost all the drivers were there, qualifying was great, and then almost 50 laps into the race and next thing i know we are under the grandstands and the teams are in the shelters in the infield and tornado sirens are going off! You gotta love the midwest. Too bad i had to go home to work monday its gonna be a heck of a finish!! |

More rain today. Not much of a race.
Rick Crawford slips to 11th in the points. _________________

Always a Big disappointment when rain shortens a race..Not so bad in Cup, in some circumstances because their races are so long anyways..But with the Truck Series' shorter races, We NEED all those laps..But what else can we do when Mother Nature bears down so hard? The Lightning, the tornado, That stuff you just cant help, and we dont want to see anyone get hurt!
I just hope the rainey season is about over with, and doesnt affect any more races like the 2 rain-delayed races we have had already..
I am Ready for a Race with GOOD weather, No delays, No tornados or lightning, Just Good Ole TRUCK RACING!! |
