As part of Toyota’s commitment to its entry into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTS), Toyota named Pat Wall to the newly created position of vice president and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series program manager for Toyota Racing Development, U.S.A., Inc. (TRD).

Wall is responsible for oversight and direction of all TRD resources in High Point, N.C. This includes the management of NCTS team technical support activities, teams’ engine and chassis supply, as well as track and all related laboratory testing for Toyota’s truck racing teams.  In addition, Wall oversees and manages Toyota’s technical and racing relationship with NASCAR, and NASCAR program partners. Sponsorship development for the NCTS program also falls within his purview.

“For the past three years, Pat has worked on the development and management of the relationships critical to the successful launch of Toyota’s NASCAR truck racing program,” said Lee White, senior vice president and general manager of TRD. “He has been instrumental to our initial success in the series and we are fortunate to have him as a permanent member of our team.”

Since 2001, Wall served as motorsports management consultant to Toyota.  He provided valuable insight during Toyota’s viability study of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and assisted in the development of TRD’s technical facilities in North Carolina.

Prior to joining TRD, Wall spent 15 years as a motor racing consultant providing business, marketing, sponsorship development and sponsorship representation consultation to a number of organizations, sponsors and event promoters of automobile racing.  In addition to Toyota Motor Sales, USA, his client list included Caldwell Development, Inc., Bill Davis Racing, Inc., Wild Dog Racing LLC, Della Penna Motorsports, Inc., VISA, U.S.A., Chrysler Corporation, PacWest Racing Group, Inc., Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula / The Laguna Seca Raceway and Walker Motorsports / Derrick Walker Racing, Inc.

Prior to joining the world of racing, Wall spent 18 years developing a family owned metal stamping business, AutoStyle, Inc., into a tier one supplier of plastic body components and engineering services to the North American auto industry. Wall earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration (BSBA) from Ferris State University, Mich. and completed pre-engineering studies at Grand Rapids (Michigan) Community College. Wall is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, Society of Plastic Engineers and a 29-year member of Sports Car-Club of America.
