Persistent showers forced the cancellation of qualifying for tonight's season-ending Ford 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
That means James Buescher, who was fastest in Friday's lone practice round, will start from the pole in his No. 31 Turner Motorsports Chevrolet. Buescher will be flanked by the No. 21 Kevin Harvick Inc. Chevy of Ty Dillon. Row 2 will be another KHI entry, the No. 8 of Nelson Piquet, and on the outside, Truck Series points leader Austin Dillon. Row 3 will be Johnny Sauter and Cole Whitt.
The remainder of the top 10 will be Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Justin Lofton and Joey Coulter.
Austin Dillon leads Sauter by 20 points and Buescher by 28. Dillon can clinch tonight by finishing 16th or better in tonight's season-ending race; 17th or better with at least one lap led; or 18th or better with the most laps led.
SPEED's coverage of the Ford 200 Truck Series race starts at 7:30 p.m. with The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Setup, with the race at 8 p.m. Officials are optimistic the race will get run this evening, despite heavy rain earlier in the day.
