SPEED coverage of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race from Bristol scored a Nielsen Household Rating of .69 (530,000 households), a three-percent increase from last year's .67 (492,000 households) and up 10 percent from 2008's .63 (460,000 households). Wednesday night's race coverage peaked at a .79 (604,000 households).
After early season postponements at Daytona (rain) and Gateway (electrical), the Truck Series has been building momentum with viewers lately, scoring increases in three of the last four events (Pocono up 78%, Darlington up 19% and Bristol). The Trucks return to SPEED next week in Chicago, with live coverage beginning with NCWTS Setup at 8:30 p.m. ET and race coverage beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
