• Peters at Bristol…The O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 will mark Timothy Peters' sixth start at Bristol Motor Speedway. In five previous events, he has earned two top-10 starts and one top-10 finish. Last year, behind the wheel of the #17, Peters started eighth and finished 10th.
• Riding The Momentum…Peters and the #17 Red Horse Racing team have been on a roll in recent weeks. Peters started the string of top-10's last month in Gateway and has been earning them ever since. Now at five top-10's in a row, the #17 team stepped up their game the last two races by earning top-fives. Peters finished fourth at Nashville and second last weekend at Darlington Raceway. Peters has also been qualifying well. In the past four races he has started inside the top-three three times including capturing two poles. In 15 events so far this season, Peters has only finished outside the top-10 on three occasions. He has the name number of top-10's as series point leader, Todd Bodine.
• Tight Points Battle…With a second place finish in Darlington, Peters ate into the point lead and is closing in on the second spot. He is just 16 points out of second place and 247 points back from the leader.

"Bristol is like South Boston Speedway on steroids. I really like racing there because it's so similar to the tracks I grew up racing late models on. If you can unload well there you're going to have a great day, if you don't it's going to be a very long day. Bristol is always action packed and exciting for the fans. I hope we can keep our streak going and pick up where we left off at Darlington."

"I love racing at Bristol. I guess it's because I've always had success there and I've been lucky enough to win a couple races. The great thing about Bristol is if something worked for you four years ago it will still work now. That makes experience key. The more times you've been there, the more ahead of the game you will be. Bristol is like a speedway on a short track. Timothy ran well there last year so I'm confident we will leave there with another good run and keep this momentum going."
