PREVIEW: RICKY CARMICHAEL (NO. 4 MONSTER ENERGY CHEVROLET)
VENUE: POCONO RACEWAY (2.5-MILE TRI-OVAL)
CIRCUIT: NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES (RACE 13 of 25)
EVENT: POCONO MOUNTAINS 125 (50 LAPS, 125 MILES)
DATE: JULY 31, 2010

CARMICHAEL AT POCONO: Ricky Carmichael will be making his on-track debut at Pocono Raceway as the Pocono Mountains 125 will be the first visit by the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to the "tricky triangle."

CARMICHAEL ON TRUCKS: Carmichael's last race came at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis, where he finished in the 14th-position. So far this season, Carmichael has scored one top-five (Dover) and three top-10 finishes (Atlanta, Martinsville and Iowa) in the first 12 races of the 2010 season.

CARMICHAEL ON COMPETING AT POCONO: "I've never been to Pocono, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. I watch the Cup races there on TV, but obviously it's going to be much different when I'm there and in the truck. It will be a busy weekend for me of learning, but I know that everyone in the truck series will be in the same boat."

BEHIND THE WHEEL: Crew chief Mike Fritts has chosen chassis No.9 for Carmichael to pilot at Pocono. This is a brand new Leavitt chassis for Turner Motorsports and the Monster Energy team.

BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW: Carmichael used his time at home this week to begin planning his second annual charity golf tournament. The event, to be held on Monday, September 13th, benefits the Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO), a local Tallahassee, Fla., charity that helps homeless families. Visit http://www.echotally.org/echoevents.cfm or www.rickycarmichael.com for details.

MEET THE DRIVER: NASCAR fans will have the chance to see Carmichael, and ask him a few questions of their own, when he visits the Sprint Experience at Pocono on Friday, July 30, at 2 p.m.
