Austin Dillon, who has been fast all day, claimed the pole for Sunday's Lucas
Oil 200 presented by SPEED on Mediacom NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at
Iowa Speedway.
Dillon, driver of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Silverado, lapped
the 0.875 track at 135.263 miles per hour, good enough for his third NCWTS pole
of the season. He was second in both practices earlier in the day.
Starting outside of Dillon on Row 1 will be the Billy Ballew Motorsports No. 51
Toyota of Aric Almirola, who ran 134.305 mph.
Row 2 will be Stacy Compton's No. 60 Chevrolet and the No. 18 Kyle Busch
Motorsports, which this week is driven by Brian Ickler. Johnny Sauter's No. 13
ThorSport Racing Chevy completed the top five.
The second five was Greg Pursley, Ryan Sieg, Timothy Peters, points Todd Bodine
and Matt Crafton.
Bodine leads Aric Almirola by 55 points and Peters by 165.
SPEED will televise Sunday's race live, starting with the "NASCAR Camping World
Truck Series Setup" at 1:30 p.m. ET.
