SKINNER: Will Host Toyota Round Up For Charity

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion driver and Volusia County resident Mike Skinner announced today that the 4TH ANNUAL TOYOTA SKINNER ROUND UP FOR CHARITY Presented by Rue & Ziffra Personal Injury Attorneys will take place on Thursday, March 11, and Friday, March 12, at Daytona International Speedway and Spruce Creek Country Club in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Among the celebrities to help raise funds to benefit Volusia County charities include jazz & blues superstar Stacy Mitchhart, "American Idol's" Bo Bice, NASCAR Drivers Ron Hornaday, Steve Park, Tommy Baldwin, and Rick Crawford. Over the last three years, celebrities and the community have joined Mike in raising over a half a million dollars for area charities.
The two day event kicks off to the public on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at the Fan Zone and Daytona 500 Club in the infield of Daytona International Speedway. The annual "Hoe Down Concert," sponsored by Halifax Health and Suntrust Bank, will feature award-winning jazz and blues entertainer Stacy Mitchhart in concert. A live celebrity auction will also be featured with one-of-a-kind items donated by celebrities along with items including NASCAR Race Ticket Packages, autographed memorabilia, a European vacation, fishing charters in Costa Rica, a Texas hunting trips, and more. Plus, guests will have the opportunity to have pictures taken in Gatorade Victory Lane beside the #5 International Trucks/Monaco RV Tundra and the #5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra. Also on hand will be "A Taste of Daytona" where area restaurants and retailers will be offering their specialties to "Hoe Down" attendees. Tickets are currently on sale for $10 at all Sunshine State Bank locations with children under 12 years of age admitted FREE.

it's a fun night to enjoy with friends and family," says Skinner. "More importantly we will be giving back to many of the local charities that need our help this year."
The following day, Friday, March 13th, celebrities and sponsors will play a round of golf at Spruce Creek Country Club. Following the golf tournament, the public is invited to participate in the "Skinner Round Up" Celebrity Poker Tournament beginning at 3:00pm at Spruce Creek Country Club. Entrance fee is $100 per player, and the grand prize is round trip tickets from Jet Blue Airlines to anywhere in the Continental US plus a two night deluxe stay at Barona Resort and Casino in San Diego, CA. The winner will also receive a seat at the upcoming WSOP Tournament for the Daytona Beach Kennel Club plus final table wins Maui Jim Sunglasses.
