NEWS, NOTES & NUMBERS: In 21 NCWTS races in 2009, Toyota Tundra drivers have combined for 12 wins (Bodine -- Daytona and Texas; Busch -- California, Atlanta, Bristol, Chicagoland and New Hampshire; Mike Skinner -- Kansas, Iowa and Gateway; Brian Scott -- Dover; and Timothy Peters -- Martinsville-2), 53 top-fives and 113 top-10 finishes

… Skinner earned his 50th career NCWTS pole at Martinsville Speedway …

It was the 68th pole for Toyota since joining the series in 2004 …

Bodine will be looking for his fifth straight win on a superspeedway when he climbs into his Tundra at Talladega Superspeedway …

Bodine has two consecutive wins at Talladega (2007 and 2008), as well as winning back-to-back races at Daytona (2008 and 2009).

TIMOTHY PETERS, No. 17 Strutmasters.com Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing

How confident are you heading to Talladega? "I ran an ARCA race at Talladega in 2006, so that gives me confidence heading into this rac e. Talladega is one of those places where you never really know what to expect because anything can happen. We are coming off a win in Martinsville and there is no greater high to be on headed into this race. We plan to keep the momentum going and get this Tundra back in victory lane."

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Copart Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

How beneficial is all your experience at Talladega? "Experience is everything, especially in the draft. Knowing what you want to do and how you can accomplish it. The draft is a tricky thing and you can just as easily make a mistake as make the right move. I learned drafting from watching Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and my brothers. I watched what they would do and tried to learn from moves they would make and how they approached it. Any experience drafting is important. Really, that's part of getting experience is having time on the track and getting the laps in the draft. That's how you learn it and understand it better. Well, you have to be smart when you race at Talladega. If you get to anxious or rambunctious, you end up getting in trouble. "
