Skinner Makes 200th Start On Pole At Martinsville

Mike Skinner's 200th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start is shaping up to be a good one.

Mike Skinner, who will make his 200th start in Saturday's Kroger 200 Martinsville Speedway, captured his 50th career pole position in Friday's qualifying session. He will enter Saturday's race looking for his fourth win.

Skinner took his lap of 95.733 mph to beat out Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Ron Hornaday (95.617) and KHI co-owner/driver Kevin Harvick (95.583).

Denny Hamlin, makes a rare Truck start for Billy Ballew Motorsports, will start fourth. Brian Scott rounded out the top five.

Stacy Compton, Rick Crawford, Todd Bodine, Johnny Sauter and Tayler Malsam completed the top 10.

Failing to qualify were Tim Bainey Jr., Chris Lafferty and Dan Brode.
