COMPTON ON RACING AT NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY:

"New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a lot like Martinsville, but it's a little bit faster. Since they moved the banking up on the race track, you used to have to fight for the bottom and now you have to fight for the middle. It's a good race track to race on. It's got some room to race. It's a fast, short, flat track any way you look at it. I've always liked going to New Hampshire. I've always ran pretty good there. It's always fun to go there and race. Plus, we'll get some good, fresh, lobster too!

THE CREW CHIEF'S CHOICE FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE:

Marcus Richmond, Crew Chief of the No. 60 SafeAuto Insurance Company / Wyler.com Toyota Tundra, has selected chassis number 91 for the Heluva Good! 200. This chassis was last raced at O'Reilly Raceway Park where it helped propel Compton to his best qualifying effort of the year (third), en route to an eighth place finish. This truck was also run at Memphis where it qualified sixth and was running strong until a miscommunication on pit road cost the team a good finish. Prior to Memphis, this truck was raced at Martinsville where it qualified 21st and went on to finish sixth which was one of the team's best finishes of the year.

COMPTON ON HIS NEW HAMPSHIRE HOT WHEEL:

"This is the same truck that we ran Martinsville with, which was obviously a pretty good truck. We also raced it at Memphis and ORP. We're pretty excited about taking it to New Hampshire and our chances on Saturday. Marcus has some ideas on some things he wants to try and I think we're going to be good. We're bringing a truck that's got a pretty good history. It has run well at every track we've taken it to so far this year, and hopefully it will do the same this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway."

COMPTON CURRENTLY 24 POINTS OUT OF 10TH:

Stacy Compton moved up one position in the 2009 Championship Title Chase following last weekend's eighth place finish in the Copart 200 at Gateway International Raceway. Heading into Saturday afternoon's Heluva Good! 200, Compton sits 24 points out of the top-10 in 12th position.

COMPTON IS STRONG IN A TRUCK AT NEW HAMPSHIRE:

Stacy Compton has raced in all three of NASCAR's top-tier divisions at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, but his best performances have come at the 1.058-mile oval in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. In Compton's five previous NCWTS attempts, he has amassed one pole position, one top-five, three top-10s, and has led 108 laps. Compton's average starting position at New Hampshire is 12.8 and his average finish is 11.6.

COMPTON'S PAST AT NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY:

In addition to a pretty impressive career at New Hampshire in the Truck Series, Compton has also competed there in the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series. Compton has five starts in each of those divisions in the Granite State. Compton's best Cup start came in 2000 when he qualified 24th and finished 16th while driving for Mark Melling. Compton's best Nationwide start came in 2002 when he scored the seventh place starting spot but his best finish came two years later when he finished eighth while driving for Tad Geschickter. Compton has two top-10s at New Hampshire in the Nationwide Series.
