FONTAINE: Broken Shock Equals 13th At Copart 200
Chris Fontaine persisted through a broken shock and a wreck-marred race to finish with a NCWTS career high 13th at in the Copart 200 at Gateway International Raceway last Saturday.
Fontaine had qualified the Glenden Enterprises #84 NCWTS truck in the 30th spot to start the race.
He had problems early in the race on lap seven when a front shock broke in turn three, but the quick work of the Glenden Enterprises team was able to fix it and get him back out only 3 laps down.
Fontaine stayed clear of the five wrecks that happened during the race to gain back two of those laps and 17 spots.
The finish moves him up one spot to 29th in the NCWTS driver points and up two spots to 30th in owner points.
The next NCWTS race for Fontaine and the Glenden Enterprises #84 NCWTS team will be on October 24, 2009 at Martinsville Speedway for the Kroger 200.
