The Circle Bar/International Truck and Engine team will utilize chassis CB-17 this weekend at Gateway Intl Raceway. Chassis CB-17 has visited victory lane on two separate occasions: at ORP in 2006 and at Loudon in 2005. This is the same truck that was raced last weekend in Iowa, and it also has been raced earlier this year at ORP at Indianapolis (11th), Memphis Motorsports Park (11th), The Milwaukee Mile (12th) and Martinsville Speedway (5th).
With his 17th-place finish last weekend at Iowa Speedway, Crawford advanced one position to move into eighth place in the driver point standings and is 112 points out of the top five and 590 points out of the lead.
Crawford has eight lead-lap finishes to his credit at GIR in truck series competition, the most of any driver, and is tied for the most top fives (4) and top 10s (7).
Circle Bar Racing is proud to display the Casino Queen logo on the rear quarterpanels of its Nos. 10 and 14 Ford F-150s this weekend at GIR.
In 314 career Camping World Truck Series starts, Crawford has posted 154 top-10 finishes a mark of 49.0%.
In his truck series career, Crawford has been running at the finish of 284 races, the most of any driver in the series and a mark of 90.4%.
Crawford has logged over 54,000 miles in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, the most of any driver in series history.
Crawford will make his 315th start extending a Series record this weekend at Gateway Intl Raceway. Crawfords impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19, 1997.
Crawfords Thoughts on GIR:
Unique is the best way that I can describe Gateway. For a driver, it ¡s a challenging place because there are no similarities in either of the corners or the straightaways. You could classify it as a driver¡¦s race track, but you also have to have good equipment under you. Horsepower and handling are the two things that you need to be successful at Gateway, with horsepower being the key. The banking being different at both ends of the track as well as the different length of the straightaways makes it one of the most unique race tracks that we go to during the season.
