"This will be the first time I've ever been to Iowa Speedway and I'm looking forward to it. I obviously watched the Nationwide race to see how that all transpired and to get a look at the race track for the first time. It looks like a neat race track; a lot like Richmond. I feel confident that we can go there and run good. We've ran really well the last 10 weeks, so every time that we go to a venue now we're pretty excited. We unload on the right side of the time sheets and we're usually in the top-five or top-10 in practice. We expect the same at Iowa."
COMPTON TO SIGN AUTOGRAPHS FOR IOWA FANS:
Stacy Compton is scheduled to sign autographs for fans at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, September 5th from 4 to 5 p.m. Compton is one of several drivers participating in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series autograph session directly behind the Manatt Grandstands.
COMPTON CURRENTLY FOUR POINTS OUT OF 10TH:
Stacy Compton was 11th in the 2009 Championship Title Chase heading into the EnjoyIllinois.com 225 last weekend at Chicagoland Speedway, and even though he slid one spot to 12th in the standings following a 12th place performance at the Illinois speedway, he closed the gap on 10th. Compton is currently sitting 12th, just one point out of 11th and only four points out of the top-10.
THE CREW CHIEF'S CHOICE FOR IOWA SPEEDWAY:
