BODINE: Back In No. 30 With Lumber Liquidators
TruckSeries.com Report

Lumber Liquidators and the No. 30 Tundra are a pairing that set records in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. When the two joined forces in March, 2006, Todd Bodine drove the Lumber Liquidators Tundra to its first ever pole award, followed by a win, at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Just one race later, Bodine locked up the championship points lead and held it for a record-setting 21 races en route to putting the then rookie sponsor Lumber Liquidators on stage to celebrate the 2006 Truck Series championship. The Lumber Liquidators Tundra raced full time through the win at Homestead at the close of 2008 and the familiar winning combination will return to the Truck Series on Saturday night at Iowa Speedway.

"I want to thank Tom Sullivan and Lumber Liquidators. There is such a great history with Lumber Liquidators, Todd Bodine and Germain Racing's No. 30 team. It's going to be fun to put on the old uniforms and see if the magic is still there when we unleash the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra at Iowa Speedway," said Bob Germain Jr., president of Germain Racing.

Crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. is hoping Germain Racing will pick up where it left off when the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra races again at Iowa Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway.

"We won the first race we ran with the Lumber Liquidators Tundra and we won the last race we ran with the Lumber Liquidators Tundra. Hopefully we can pick up right where we left off," said Hillman Jr., alluding to the win that kick-started the nearly three-year relationship with Lumber Liquidators in March, 2006, at Atlanta Motor Speedway and last year's win in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Tom Sullivan, Chairman and Founder of Lumber Liquidators is looking forward to seeing the Lumber Liquidators Tundra on-track again.

"We're excited about partnering with Todd Bodine, the Germain's, the Hillman's—the whole crew again. We're hoping to see them in victory lane with the Lumber Liquidators Tundra again soon," said Sullivan.

There should be a great crowd on hand at Iowa to watch the Lumber Liquidators Tundra return to Truck Series racing, according to Bodine.

"Iowa Speedway had a great fan turnout for the Nationwide Series race so we're looking forward to seeing those fans come back again to watch the Lumber Liquidators Tundra racing in the Truck Series," said Bodine.

Bodine races the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra Saturday night, September 5th, at Iowa Speedway. Qualifying is at 6:45 PM Eastern followed by 200 laps of racing (175 miles) at 9:45 PM Eastern. Tune into to SPEED, or MRN, for race coverage at 9:00 PM Eastern. Bodine enters Iowa ranked fourth in Truck Series points with two wins this season.
