Johnny Sauter charged to a 5th place finish in the EnjoyIllinois.com 225 at Chicagoland Speedway on Friday.

The finish was Sauter's 2nd top-5 and 6th top-10 of the season.

"It was a solid night for us," Sauter said. "We were good on the long runs, but just a little too free on the short runs. We'll take it. I'm happy for the guys on this No. 13 Fun Sand team; we just keep trying to find ways to get better, and I feel like things are coming together for us."

Sauter and his fellow NCWTS competitors make their first race visit to Iowa Speedway for the Lucas Oil 200 on Saturday.

"It was great for us to take the trucks to Chicago, and it's cool that we follow it up with a visit to Iowa," said Sauter. "From everything I've heard, the race at Iowa should be a blast for the drivers and fans. We'll give it all we have, and hopefully we can come out of Iowa with another top-5 finish."
