Johnny Sauter battled to a 6th place finish in the Toyota 200 at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday. It was Sauter's fifth top-5 finish of the season.

"I'm real happy for the guys," Sauter said of the No. 13 Fun Sand/Rodney Atkins-Curb Records crew. "We had one of the fastest trucks out there, a top-three truck for sure. We knew in practice we had a strong truck, and we qualified in the top-ten. Unfortunately, we had a brake issue that bit us during the race. But all in all, it was a decent night for us. We're looking forward to Bristol in a couple of weeks."

Sauter has been in the thick of victory-contention several times this season, and says the No. 13 team continues to draw a bead on Victory Lane.

"This team continues to make progress, and our trucks keep getting better," he said. "Our pit stops have been really strong. I'm proud of the guys, and we'll keep looking for ways to improve. We're confident we can win races yet this season."
