Johnny Sauter hopes to get back on the top-10 track in the MemphisTravel.com 200 presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts on Saturday.

Sauter has finished 16th and 14th in his last couple of races, following a streak of three top-10 finishes in his previous four races.

Racing at Memphis would appear to be the perfect turnaround tonic for Sauter. He won the Pole Award for a Nationwide Series race at the track in '06, and finished 4th. In 7 career starts at Memphis, Sauter owns a pair of top-5 finishes. He has finished in the top-10 four times.

"Memphis is just one of those tracks where I've always felt comfortable," he said. "It's short-track racing, and I love it. It's a unique track, and especially with the race under the lights, it just adds a really cool element. With the heat there, the track can get really slick, so obviously grip will play a big part in the race. Racing at Memphis is always a great show for the fans."

Sauter and the No. 13 Fun Sand/Rodney Atkins-Curb Records Silverado are headed in the right direction, he says.

"We're disappointed with our results the last couple of races, but that's the way it goes sometimes," he said. "We expect to finish in the top-10 every week, and to be fighting for wins. These guys are building great trucks for me and this team continues to jell. It's a process, and we're making strides. Hopefully, we can take this No. 13 Fun Sand Chevy to Victory Lane on Saurday."
