FONTAINE: 15th In The Michigan 200
The 15th place finish comes on the heels of the team's 14th place finish at
Dover last month, and a 20th place finish at Martinsville,
for two top-fifteen finishes out of the three run to date. The 14th place
finish was also a career best for Fontaine.
Fontaine barely missed a wreck right in front of him, when asked about it he
responded," I saw a lot of smoke and my spotter said 'go
high' so I went high and kept it off the wall. Everybody cleared out of the
way by the time I got to it." Chris Fontaine said.
"It was a good learning experience. Now we are qualified to run Daytona and
Talladega, and that was our main goal at Michigan. The
trucks in one piece and now we can work on making it faster."
The next NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race for Chris Fontaine will be
at Memphis Motorsports Park on 6/27/09 for the running of the
MemphisTravel.com 200 presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts.
The race will be broadcast on SPEED at 5:30 pm.
