BUESCHER: Home To Texas

For Plano, Texas native James Buescher, this weekend's foray to Texas Motor Speedway will serve as a homecoming for the former Bandolero driver who once dominated at the facility on a regular basis. And, despite his familiarity with TMS, this will mark the first time that the 19-year-old will grace the 1.5-mile quad-oval with his presence.

Just past the halfway point of last Saturday's 200-lap event his truck caught fire, relegating him to a 24th place finish—his first finish outside of the top 14 since the season-opening race at Daytona.

Buescher, a Raybestos Rookie of the Year candidate, is currently 15th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series standings, 248 points out of the lead.

Watch James in the WinStar World Casino 400, airing Friday night on SPEED at 8:30 pm EST. The race will also be broadcast live on local MRN Radio affiliates and Sirius-XM Satellite Radio.

JAMES'S THOUGHTS ON RACING IN TEXAS

How do you feel about returning to your native state of Texas for your first race on the TMS quad-oval?

"I'm definitely excited. We'll have a good truck there—it's the same truck that ran in the top five all night at Charlotte—and the Circle Bar team has been working hard on getting this truck ready.

"I have a lot of family and friends coming for this race, plus the International folks will have a big hospitality gathering this weekend, so there will be a lot of people pulling for the 10 truck to do well. I think we're capable of a top five finish this weekend so hopefully we can give our fans something to cheer about."
