"We were pretty good at Charlotte and we've learned some things since then, so I think we'll be better at Texas. Traditionally, Texas has been pretty good to me; we've always ran good there so I'm pretty excited about going back there. We've got a pretty good stretch of races coming up. We let Dover slip away - we probably should have had a top-five there - but I don't see why we can't have top-fives the next stretch of races. I feel like we've got a shot to win races and finish in the top-five in every one of them. Texas is a good place to start. We'll go there and see if we can redeem ourselves from Dover."
COMPTON ON WYLER RACING'S 1.5-MILE PROGRAM:
"Our 1.5-mile program is getting better every week. Every time we go to a 1.5-mile race track we're learning more. Marcus (Richmond, Crew Chief) and I are still working on our communication and we're trying to figure these trucks out. As Marcus and I work together more and we get our bodies better, I think we'll be able to go out and win races."
THE CREW CHIEF'S CHOICE FOR TEXAS:
Marcus Richmond, Crew Chief of the No. 60 SafeAuto Insurance Company / Wyler.com Toyota Tundra, has selected chassis number 120 for the WinStar World Casino 400. This chassis was last raced at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 15th where it produced a 9th place finish. This is the best Toyota in the Wyler Racing fleet aero-wise and since aerodynamics are so important at Texas Motor Speedway, chassis 120 was the obvious choice. "It may be a little slow in qualifying, but it should drive really good during the race," said Richmond. "This chassis responded really well at Charlotte and we have worked on it a lot so it should be really good at Texas."
THE COURTYARD FORT WORTH DOWNTOWN/BLACKSTONE JOINS WYLER RACING:
