CRAWFORD: Sixth Start At Lowe's

The Circle Bar/International Truck and Engine team will utilize chassis CB-21 this week at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Chassis CB-21 is the team's workhorse on the intermediate tracks, and it was raced to a 14th-place finish at Auto Club Speedway in California and finished 16th at Atlanta Speedway after starting on the front row. Most recently, it was raced to a 14th-place finish at Kansas Speedway in the series' last event.

Crawford is one of five drivers to have competed in all six NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events at Lowe's Motor Speedway. In those six races, Crawford has five top-11 finishes and has been running at the finish in all six races.

Crawford is currently 11th in the driver standings, a mere seven points out of the top 10 and 68 points out of the top five.

In 302 career Camping World Truck Series starts, Crawford has posted 151 top-10 finishes - a mark of 50.0%.

In his truck series career, Crawford has been running at the finish of 272 races, the most of any driver in the series and a mark of 90.0%.

Crawford has logged over 51,000 miles in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, the most of any driver in the series.

Crawford will make his 303rd start - extending a Series record - this weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Crawford's impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19, 1997.

Crawford's Thoughts on LMS:

"We've done a lot of development work with this International Truck & Engine Ford F-150 since it was last raced at Kansas. We've taken it to the k-rig, seven-post shaker and wind tunnel trying to get our mile-and-a-half program a little better. This is a proven race truck, so we know it's capable of running up front; we just needed to do a little more fine-tuning on it. The Camping World Truck Series is starting its race season now where we're almost racing on a weekly basis, and there won't be a lot of time to get the trucks to the wind tunnel or k-rig between races, so it was important that we spent the last few weeks doing some research and development. I think we've got a good piece for Charlotte. The paving job they did there made the track faster, but you're never going to get rid of characteristics of Lowe's Motor Speedway. The new surface took away from some of the experimenting you could do with setups, and because Goodyear got the tire right, it makes the speeds higher and allows for greater side-by-side racing."
