BUESCHER: Ready For Lowe's
TruckSeries.com Report

Last weekend was an off-weekend for James Buescher and Circle Bar Racing. So Buescher's idea of relaxation? Winning the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Kentucky Speedway last Saturday night.

Fresh off his second ARCA win of 2009, Buescher returns to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition this weekend in what will be the first career start at Lowe's Motor Speedway for the 19-year-old Texan.

Buescher, newly-engaged to longtime girlfriend Kris Turner, rolls into LMS with quite the forward momentum. Since Daytona, Buescher has not finished worse than 14th place as his quest for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors remains intact. Buescher will once again pilot his No. 10 International MaxxForce Diesel Ford F-150 in hopes of a positive showing at the 1.5 quad-oval.

The North Carolina Education Lottery 200 will serve as a home game of sorts for the Circle Bar Racing team, led by crew chief Jamie Jones. The Circle Bar shop is located across the street from Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Watch James in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200, which airs Friday night on SPEED at 8 pm EST. The race will be broadcast on local MRN Radio affiliates and Sirius-XM Satellite Radio.

JAMES'S THOUGHTS ON RACING AT LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY

How do you feel you will fare in your first visit to Lowe's Motor Speedway?

"I think we're going to do better at this track than we have at the other mile-and-a-half speedways. This is the same truck we brought to Kansas, chassis CB18, and it's one that we think is capable of a good finish. We've been trying to crack the top ten in the last few races and I think we're ready to make that happen in Charlotte."

Coming off of your second ARCA win of 2009 at Kentucky Speedway, is there anything that you can take from the win that would translate into Truck Series success?

"Really, I've only been allowed to race at these mile-and-a-half tracks for about a year, so I'm still pretty new to competing at big tracks. I feel like I've figured out the superspeedways (Daytona and Talladega) but I probably still have some work to do on the intermediates. The win at Kentucky helps just because it was seat time and it was experience running in the front of the pack at a track like that."
