TEAM CHEVY SILVERADO INSIDE THE GARAGE AT KANSAS SPEEDWAY-DAYNE PIERANTONI, GM RACING SILVERADO PROGRAM MANAGER, NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES: "Our Chevrolet teams are really looking forward to making the trip to Kansas Speedway. Last year we saw a dominating performance by the two KHI entries with Ron Hornaday emerging as the race winner. This year our Silverados have shown a lot of muscle on the 1.5-mile to two-mile tracks and I am expecting that to continue in Kansas.

"Our GM engineers have been working closely with our teams in order to exploit the capabilities of GM's race engineering tools and facilities. These efforts coupled with the experience and hard work of our key teams have really been paying dividends in the performance of our Chevys on the track."

"With respect to Kansas, given the high speeds and relatively flat corners the aero and engine packages are critical. We have continued to refine our package in the wind tunnel and our teams are well prepared and have a good understanding of the specifics of their trucks. On the engine side, PME continues to develop our Chevy engines and provides race winning power each and every week. As always, our Chevy Silverados are coming Kansas to win."
