Billy Ballew Motorsports NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Crew Chief, Doug George will be inducted into the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame July 3, 2009 at Irwindale Speedway in Southern California.

George is a native of Atwater, California and won the 1990 NASCAR Southwest Tour title, posting nine victories. He also won the 1995 NASCAR Camping World Series West Series title. George has two starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (Sonoma and Phoenix, 1995) and 56 starts in the Camping World Truck Series Career before moving into a crew chief position.

Inductees into the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame include Parnelli Jones, Ivan Baldwin, Ernie Irvan and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rick Carelli and former owner Wayne Spears.

"It's truly an honor to be put in a class with the other inductees," George said. "I grew up watching, working with and racing against a lot of these guys and they are the reason I've continued my career in racing."

George has been with Billy Ballew Motorsports since early spring 2007 as the crew chief on the No. 15 Toyota Tundra. In 2009, George moved to the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Toyota Tundra driven by Kyle "Rowdy" Busch. In just his second race at the helm, Busch gave George his first win as a crew chief in Fontana, California. The team went on to repeat the win at Atlanta Motor Speedway two weeks later.
