TruckSeries.com Report

Toyota Tundra drivers have recorded two wins (Todd Bodine -- Daytona, Kyle Busch -- California), seven top-fives and 12 top-10 finishes in the first two 2009 races … Busch is the defending race-winner at Atlanta, having led 39 laps en route to victory in March 2008.Bodine and Busch will pull 'double duty' in Atlanta, competing in both the NSCS and NCWTS races.

Gabi DiCarlo is making her second-career NCWTS start this weekend, the first of her career at Atlanta

After making his NSCS oval debut at Las Vegas last weekend, Max Papis returns to the No. 9 GEICO Tundra at Atlanta.

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Why have you been successful at Atlanta?

"Atlanta's been one of those tracks I've run good at -- whether it's the old configuration, new configuration, Cup Series, the (Nationwide) Series or Truck Series -- it doesn't matter. I've always run well at Atlanta Motor Speedway. I like the track and that gives you confidence going there. It has a lot of momentum -- the closer to wide-open you can run, the faster you can go. It really gets to be fun on older tires when you start slipping and sliding and you can make a difference (lap speeds) with what you do as a driver."

GABI DiCARLO, No. 90 Great Clips Tundra, Stringer Motorsports

What have you learned about Atlanta before you make your first start there?

"I have been watching a lot of video and speaking to several veteran drivers about getting around Atlanta Motor Speedway. The first thing you hear is how unbelievably fast the track is, followed by how much fun it is to drive because of the multiple grooves. I'm looking forward to the first practice session so that I can get comfortable and begin learning the track."
