TEAM CHEVY SILVERADO INSIDE THE GARAGE AT AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY
DAYNE PIERANTONI, GM RACING SILVERADO PROGRAM MANAGER, NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES:
"We are really looking forward to taking our Chevrolet Silverados to the California Speedway this week. Overall, we qualified very well last week at Daytona and even though we will be going to our downforce trucks this week I expect to carry that forward in California. Last year we struggled a bit with aero balance at California during the race but our teams have worked really hard to address that over the last season."
"The engines will be equally important as we push these trucks through the air on this high speed 2 mile track. PME has continued to make progress on our Chevrolet power plants so it will be up to the crew chiefs to get the chassis dialed in throughout the weekend. Kevin Harvick, Ron Hornaday and Matt Crafton are all California natives so I know they will be ready to put on a good show for their friends and family. It should be fun to watch."
