New Initiative to Debut at April's NASCAR Nationwide Series Race
In an effort to give NASCAR fans unprecedented behind the scene access; Nashville Superspeedway is rolling out a new opportunity for race fans in 2009. It's called - ALL ACCESS.
To return to some of the "grassroots" elements that have made NASCAR so popular among motorsports fans; Nashville Superspeedway will debut this new fan initiative at the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, April 11.
"All Access will provide race fans with a pre race opportunity to access areas of the infield that have been restricted in the past; all of which was once common place in the sport of NASCAR," Nashville Superspeedway Vice President & General Manager Cliff Hawks said. "I feel very strongly that the Nationwide Series and the Camping World Series need new elements that will elevate interest and help each series reconnect with fans."
All Access features:
Pre race Garage access that will give race fans the opportunity to see garage and pit road activities on race day before the race begins.
Access to the NASCAR Driver's Meeting
Front Stretch track access with cars staged, in qualifying order, on the front stretch for fans to have their picture made with their favorite cars.
Pre race driver introductions will include drivers being introduced while they walk down through the grandstands and on to the track.
Drivers will get into their cars on the front stretch and await the "gentlemen start your engines" command. Engines will start on the front stretch with pace laps to follow.
The All Access initiative presents a new opportunity for fans to enjoy even more accessibility , and will allow more access to parts of the racing facility that have been "off limits" in the past. Hawks worked directly with NASCAR officials to implement the new "ALL ACCESS" concept.
"All of these new elements are designed to give fans even more opportunity to connect with the sport and more value for their dollar," Hawks said.
Nashville Superspeedway will host three (3) major NASCAR events including April's NASCAR Nationwide Series race; the Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race June 5-6, and the Toyota Tundra 200 NASCAR Camping World Series race July 31-August 1.
The All Access Pass is included in the 2009 Season Tickets for only $149. Single-event ticket customers can add the All Access pass for $50 for the June 6 Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and the August 1 Toyota Tundra 200 NASCAR Camping World Series race.
