BODINE: "California Dreaming" a Black & White Future
TruckSeries.com Report

Germain Racing's last three-race winning streak came at the close of the 2005 season. At the time, the team was closing out their first full season of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition and getting set to enjoy the first of four consecutive top-five points finishes including one Truck Series Championship title. The No. 30 Tundra of Germain Racing holds more wins than any other Tundra in the Toyota ranks, and Todd Bodine thinks California is a great place to add another tally mark to the win column and a sponsor to the hood and quarter panels

"We've got a good Tundra for Auto Club Speedway. We won with it at Homestead. We worked on it over the winter and made it better so we're pretty optimistic," said Bodine who found victory lane at the Fontana, Calif., race track in his first visit there in the No. 30 Toyota Tundra in 2004. "We've always been strong at tracks like this. We have a pretty good understanding of what the trucks need to do, and we go every week to win."

Crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. said the team has worked hard in the off season to improve the No. 30 Tundra that closed out the 2008 season with a win at Homestead-Miami Speedway to prepare it for a rematch with Kyle Busch at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

"Last year, Todd and Kyle were really pretty even. Our Germain Racing guys have worked really hard on the No. 30 Tundra over the winter. We learned some things that should give us the advantage at Auto Club Speedway and give us our third consecutive Truck Series win," said Hillman.

Germain Racing has always been very competitive at Auto Club Speedway. The team has one win, three top-five and four top-ten finishes in five visits to the track. It's not so much about knowledge of the race track as it is about the whole team. Germain Racing last finished outside the top-ten at Loudon in 2008. In the final eleven races of 2008, the team earned nine top-five finishes, ten top-ten finishes and
two victories.

"We have the best team/driver combination available in the garage. Our team was built on heart and with our 'never give up' motto, we prepare our trucks to win races each week," said Hillman. "We have kept the momentum alive that we built with the win at Homestead. Winning at Daytona steps it up a notch. We can't wait to get on track at Auto Club Speedway."

In recent years, the Truck Series has continued to gain viewers on SPEED and Germain Racing has continued to deliver strong visibility to team sponsors. Collecting 17 wins and six pole awards in the team's short history has made Germain Racing one of the elite teams in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

"We know we have a great opportunity here for sponsors, whether they want to come on board with us for a race or two, or for the remainder of the season. NASCAR has a great group of competitors in the Truck Series and SPEED does an outstanding job delivering our show to the race fans. Now more than ever advertisers need to make sure that they are getting their message to the target audience for a good price and I don't know how you can find a better deal than what we have at Germain Racing in the Truck Series," said Hillman.

Watch Germain Racing go for three consecutive Truck Series wins on Saturday, February 21, 2009, live on FOX. To learn more about joining Germain Racing as a sponsor, visit www.germainracing.com and visit the Sponsor links.
