KVAPIL: Fast Facts Entering Homestead
Travis Kvapil on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway:
"We've got one more shot to get a win for the Zaxby's team this season. I
thought we had a chance at Texas a few weeks ago until our truck got too free
the longer we ran toward the end of the race. We led 15 laps and the guys had
great pit stops all night. We're taking the same truck to Homestead, so
hopefully we can get that last adjustment just right this time and get to
victory lane. Chad (Norris, crew chief) and the guys have worked hard all year
so it would be great to end the season with a win."
Crew chief Chad Norris on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway:
"Homestead is a pretty cool track and most of the drivers really enjoy
racing there. We've got Travis back in the Zaxby's Ford F-150 for our last race
of the season, so we are all excited about that. We're taking the same
truck we raced in Texas two weeks ago. There was a point during the race when I
thought we could win, but our truck got too loose and (Ron) Hornaday was too
strong. Hopefully this will be our weekend."
