EPIC NASCAR Camping World Truck Series TITLE FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS HOMESTEAD-MIAMI

SEASON FINALE ON SPEED™ COMPLETE NCTS COVERAGE PART OF MORE THAN 30 HOURS OF PROGRAMMING FROM NASCAR CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK IN HOMESTEAD

Highlighted by the tightest NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship battle in series history, SPEED will deliver nearly 30 hours of original programming from Homestead-Miami Speedway this week, highlighted by live and exclusive coverage of Friday's Truck Series finale at 8 p.m. ET (NCTS Setup with Krista Voda at 7:30 p.m. ET).

With Johnny Benson, last year's Homestead winner, and defending NCTS champion Ron Hornaday Jr. locked in the closest points race in series history with a three-point margin of separation, SPEED will begin on-track coverage with NCTS final practice (Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. ET) and NCTS qualifying (Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. ET).

RELATED STORY: What to Watch on SPEED at Homestead

Hornaday, a three-time series champ, is familiar with dramatic finishes, having participated in three of the five closest points battles in NCTS history.  In addition to this year's contest with Benson, Hornaday headed into the final event of the year trailing by 29 points last year and leading by 13 points in 1998.  Both times he took home the title.

"The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has delivered the best racing in NASCAR all season long," SPEED President Hunter Nickell said.  "Nielsen ratings are up double digits, we're welcoming a new title sponsor and the championship fight once again is going down to the wire. Homestead is going to be a blast."

SPEED will kick off its presence in Homestead with live coverage of Thursday's Sprint Cup Championship Press Conference at 1 p.m. ET.  Early in the week, SPEED will preview the Homestead race with This Week in NASCAR, hosted by Steve Byrnes with panelists Greg Biffle and Michael Waltrip (Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. ET), and NASCAR Confidential: How the Chase was Run (Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. ET).
