Cale Gale put the No. 2 American Commercial Lines Silverado on the outside of the front row for tomorrow night's Silverado 350K at Texas Motor Speedway. This will be Gale's career-first start at Texas.

Ron Hornaday, No. 33 VFW Silverado, will roll off seventh as he continues his quest for a second consecutive and fourth overall NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship. Hornaday is currently second in the standings, just 31 points out of the lead.

The Silverado 350K is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m CDT. SPEED TV, MRN Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio will broadcast live coverage of the 147-lap/220.5-mile race.

CALE GALE, NO. 2 AMERICAN COMMERCIAL LINES SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 2ND: "Our Chevrolet Silverado was pretty good there in qualifying. I felt like we had a good lap. It didn't hold up for the pole, but we have a good starting position for tomorrow night. I am having a lot of fun out here in Texas. I like this track a lot. Today was the first time I have ever been on it. Ernie (Cope, crew chief) and all the guys have been working hard. They had a great win last week at Atlanta with Ryan (Newman) and we brought the same truck back here. It is a lot of fun and the truck drives good so hopefully tomorrow night will be a lot of fun.

"We were good off the trailer. Kevin and DeLana (Harvick) decided to let me drive the truck this week.

"This will probably be my last race of the year. This one wasn't scheduled at all.  The trucks are a lot of fun; I had a lot of fun racing in them last year. Last year, Kevin put me in these races to let me go to tracks I have never been too in the second truck team. This year the second truck team is a full-time deal and I have a little more experience. Coming to Texas, it is one of the tracks that I haven't been to. I feel like tomorrow night will be a good race. Obviously Ron's truck is fast. Our truck is fast and hopefully we can stay out trouble, finish the race and be there at the end when it counts."

RON HORNADAY, NO. 33 VFW SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 7TH: "We fought tight throughout the most of practice but Rick Ren (crew chief) and the guys kept working on our VFW Chevy and we have a good race truck.  I had a vibration that felt like a tire was out of balance. We asked NASCAR for permission to have all the wheels and tires re-balanced so Goodyear is doing that for us now to make sure all is well. Our qualifying effort is ok, we would have liked to be on the front row, but we have a decent starting spot, close to the front. Good track position always helps. I am looking forward to tomorrow night's race. This is Chevy's race and we will give it all we have got to get our Silverado to the front."

T. J. BELL, NO. 7 HOME4THEHOLIDAYS.ORG SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 8th: "Actually I couldn't believe how much grip there was on this race track. The TRG Chevy Silverado is unbelievable, just so easy to keep it wide open out there. I couldn't believe it; I probably didn't even have to hold my breath to do that. We have a real good race truck for tomorrow. I can't wait until the race. You can move around everywhere on this track, especially if you get tight or get loose, you can move make you truck better. You are going so fast here, it is just awesome. The tires Goodyear brought to this race track are perfect because you can actually feel the truck and really drive it. That is what makes it so much fun."

MATT CRAFTON, NO. 88 MENARDS/MCGUIRE-NICHOLAS SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 27TH: NOTE: Crafton crashed the primary truck in today's second practice after a piece of debris flew from another truck, punctured his left front tire and sent him hard in to the wall forcing the team to take out the backup truck. "It is a shame we lost our primary truck to something that wasn't our fault, it was awesome. That truck was fast. We struggled with our backup during the short amount of practice we got. There is no give up on this team so we will just do as much as we can during the race and see if we can't work our way up in the field."
