CRAWFORD: Going For a Win at Unpredictable Texas

The Circle Bar/Power Stroke Diesel by International team will utilize chassis CB-21 this weekend at TMS. This is the same truck that was raced to a 12th-place finish last weekend at Atlanta. Chassis CB-21 was the team's workhorse on the mile-and-half tracks until it was damaged in a last-lap melee at Texas last fall, yet still finished fifth. The truck has since been rebuilt and was also raced earlier this season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (6th), Texas Motor Speedway (21st), Lowe's Motor Speedway (5th) and Kansas Speedway (9th).

Crawford has completed the most laps of any driver in truck series competition at TMS (3,242), more than 200 laps to his closest competitor.

Crawford has scored seven top-five and 12 top-10 finishes in 21 truck series starts at Texas, and has been running at the finish in 19 of those races.

With his 12th-place finish last weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Crawford advanced one spot to sixth in the driver point standings, and is now 123 points out of third with three races remaining.

In 294 career Craftsman Truck Series starts, Crawford has posted 149 top-10 finishes - a mark of 50.7%.

In his truck series career, Crawford has been running at the finish of 266 races, the most of any driver in the series and a mark of 90.5%.

Crawford has logged over 50,000 miles in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, the most of any driver in the series.

Crawford will make his 295th start - extending a Series record - this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Crawford's impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19, 1997.

Crawford's Thoughts on TMS:  "Texas Motor Speedway is special to me because it's the home track of Tom Mitchell. He's the owner of our team and from Ozona, Texas. From the first time I ran at Texas in '97, we gear up for this race. We carry the best we have for this race. We know how important it is for our Texas-based owner and family out there. We're trying to win him a race. This year, hopefully myself and the Ford Power Stroke Diesel by International and Brendan Gaughan with the MaxxForce Diesel, we can be on top at the end with these F-150s."
