BELL: Consistent Runs add Excitement Heading to Texas
TruckSeries.com Report Printer Version

  Discuss

T.J. Bell Takes on Texas: "I'm real excited to get back to Texas, especially with truck 001.  We got to run it last week and these guys did an unbelievable job to get it turned around.  I can't thank the guys in the shop enough for staying super late to get it turned around. Taking the same truck is just going to make us better.  We missed it a little bit in Atlanta and I think we know what we need to do to get up there to pick up those two or three tenths to run up there in the top-five and race for a win.  It's good that we're going back to a place that we've already been.  We have a notebook built up on that so I'm pretty excited."

T.J. Bell is Mr. Consistency: T.J. Bell is the only NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver to finish in the top-10 in the last five races.

TRG's Truck Choice for Texas: T.J. Bell's Crew Chief, Butch Hylton, is taking chassis number 001 to Texas Motor Speedway for the Chevy Silverado 350K on Friday night.  This truck has made three starts this year and was last raced at Atlanta Motor Speedway where Bell drove it to a ninth place finish.  Prior to Atlanta, Bell raced this truck at Las Vegas Motor Speedway where he qualified 13th and finished eighth. Prior to Las Vegas, this chassis made its NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Nashville Superspeedway in August where Bell qualified 15th and
finished 19th.

Any Added Pressure?: This weekend's race at Texas Motor Speedway is the Chevy Silverado 350K.  Even though the race is sponsored by his manufacturer, Bell doesn't feel any added pressure to win.  "I think the pressure is probably on the other manufacturers because it's a Chevy race and we've been running so well in our Chevy.  Hopefully we can have a Chevy Silverado win this race and hopefully it's the No. 7 Home4theHolidays.org Chevrolet."

The Courtyard Downtown Fort Worth/Blackstone Joins TRG at Texas: The Courtyard Fort Worth Downtown/Blackstone has signed on as a sponsor of the No. 7 Chevrolet at Texas Motor Speedway. This historical hotel is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth.  Conveniently located on the edge of Sundance Square, the hotel is a short walk to Bass Hall and the Convention Center, and a quick drive to the Fort Worth Stockyards.
