OFFICIAL RESULTS: Mountain Dew 250 at Talladega
Bodine Does The DewTodd Bodine made a dramatic last-lap pass of Kyle Busch to win Saturday's Mountain Dew 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. Bodine pulled Ron Hornaday Jr. into second with him in the pass at the exit of Turn 4. Combined with Johnny Benson's 11th-place finish, Hornaday now has 39-point lead in the NCTS standings with five races to go. Pole-sitter Erik Darnell led at the start in his Northern Tool + Equipment Ford F-150, only to see the first caution fly on Lap 2 for debris on the track. Darnell led teammate Colin Braun's Con-way Freight Ford and defending race-winner Todd Bodine's Lumber Liquidators Toyota Tundra on the Lap 4 restart. On Lap 15, Jack Sprague pitted the American Commercial Lines Chevrolet Silverado, with suspected engine problems. Joey Logano's NCTS debut, meanwhile, hit a big snag as he lost his right-side window in the Team ASE/Raybestos/Harris Trucking Toyota and had to pit for a lengthy repair.
