Reutimann In, Marks Out of No. 9 Toyota at Loudon

Crew Chief Jason Overstreet and Sprint Cup regular David Reutimann will reunite at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend. The two have not worked together since the 2006 season and this opportunity is made possible as Justin Marks, who has piloted the no. 9 Tundra this season for Germain Racing, works with team management to build a Nationwide Series schedule for 2008.

"I have tested and raced a Nationwide Series Camry this year and I really feel very comfortable and confident in these cars. I appreciate this opportunity to work with Germain Racing in the Nationwide Series.  The no. 9 Tundra guys have been great to work with and I appreciate everything they've done. We are looking forward to our final race together in the no. 9 Construct Corps Tundra at Las Vegas," said Marks, who raced a Camry this summer.

Marks qualified 13th at Montreal. He was running with the top-ten when his Camry retired from the race with a broken gear box. Marks, who sharpened his racing skills on road courses across the country, showcased his talent when the teams were forced to switch to rain tires.  His times put him in line for a top-five finish.

"Justin Marks has had a strong rookie season in the no. 9 Tundra. He has collected two pole awards for Germain Racing this year, one at Daytona in the ARCA race with Mike Abner as his crew chief, and he earned his first Truck Series pole at Texas in June with Jason Overstreet and the no. 9 Tundra crew," said Mike Hillman Sr., general manager of Germain Racing. "We are working with Justin to build a schedule for him to include some Nationwide Series races and an ARCA race. He has tested and raced a Nationwide Camry and he was really comfortable in the car. We see an opportunity to get him in a Camry this year and we are working with him on the schedule."

The re-teaming of Overstreet and Reutimann in the Tundra ranks brings back fond memories for Reutimann - memories of Toyota's first Truck Series title.

"I remember my last year (2006) at Darrell Waltrip Motorsports well because that's when Germain Racing won the championship with Todd Bodine and we finished third in the points standings," Reutimann said. "We would have liked to have been at the head table, but since we couldn't be, it was nice to see Mike Hillman Sr. and Mike Hillman Jr. lead their team to a championship title for Toyota."

Reutimann was one of the original Tundra drivers from Toyota's NASCAR debut in 2004. That year, he earned the Truck Series Raybestos Rookie of the Year title.  Reutimann was picked to race the no. 9 Tundra at Loudon while the team works with Justin Marks to build a schedule of races that allows him to compete in his former home, the ARCA RE/MAX Series, and in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, where he raced this summer in Montreal, Canada.

"Jason Overstreet was my crew chief when I raced a Tundra for Darrell Waltrip Motorsports," Reutimann said. "You can pretty much say we were two rookies at the deal starting out, but we grew so much together and from all of our hard work we celebrated our first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory at Nashville  Superspeedway in 2005. That was pretty special for both of us. Ironically, my last truck race was with Jason at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2006. We finished in the top-10. It's been a long time since we worked together, but I'm really looking forward to reminiscing and talking about the good old days with him. I can't wait to pick up where we left off."

Justin Marks will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, in the No. 9 Toyota, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
