Jason White will make his first start for Billy Ballew Motorsports at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the No. 15 GunBroker.com Toyota Tundra Saturday, September 13, 2008. White currently drives the No. 08 NASCAR Craftsman Truck for Green Light Racing.
White has two previous NASCAR Nationwide Series and one Craftsman Truck Series starts at the 1-mile track in Loudon, New Hampshire. Billy Ballew Motorsports has eight previous starts with a first start in 1997 with Mike Cope. The team's best finish came in 2006 of third with Kyle Busch behind the wheel of the Craftsman Truck.
GunBroker.com will serve as the primary sponsor for the No. 15 with Ergon serving as an associate sponsor. Marc Mitchell the current driver of the No. 15 Hyprene Ergon Tundra was not slated to drive in New Hampshire giving White the opportunity to try some different equipment in the garage area.
"I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to drive for Billy Ballew," White said. "The teams' equipment is some of the best here in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series garage. I've very confident in Doug George (crew chief for the No. 15). I know I'll come out of Loudon with a lot of valuable knowledge and hopefully a solid run as well."
Doug George will return this weekend after being ill and absent at the Gateway event. JR Norris the truck chief on the No. 15 and Steve "Duze" Dluzniewski covered for George in St. Louis while he recuperated.
