John Wes Townley on racing at Nashville Superspeedway: "I'm really looking forward to racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend. I've had several good runs over the last couple of years in my late model car at the old fairgrounds speedway across town. Hopefully, some of that good karma in the Music City will reach over to the big track. I turned my first laps at Nashville Superspeedway last month in my ARCA car, and the test went really well.
"Friday will be the first time I've been in a truck at Nashville. But I am confident that Chad (Norris) and the Zaxby's team will help me get up to speed quickly. Everyone keeps telling me that it's always hot in Nashville in August, so I've been working extra hard on my conditioning this summer to be prepared for the heat this weekend."
Crew chief Chad Norris on racing at Nashville Superspeedway: "We're going to take the same truck John Wes raced at Kentucky a few weeks ago. He's gaining experience every time he races with us. This will be his fourth race of the season in the Zaxby's F-150, but he's never raced at Nashville before. The extra track time in the ARCA car will certainly help this weekend."
