WHITE: Solid Run at ORP Indy
TruckSeries.com Report Printer Version

  Discuss

Jason White had a solid run piloting the #08 GunBroker.com Dodge from a 30th place start to finish 18th in Friday Night's Power Stroke Diesel 200 at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis. White avoided several wrecks and managed to finish with a clean a truck. It was the second race in a row that White finished in the top-20. He rode as high as 3rd in th race and towards the end was in 16th and moving forward. A late race caution bunched up the field and White was shuffled back two positions before crossing the finish line.

"The car was tight at the end of the race," said White. "It's really hard to pass here and having a tight truck didn't make it any easier. But I'm happy with the finish. We stayed out of trouble and put together a good run."

"It's been a good way to start off the second half of the season," added White. "We have been so close to top-15 and top-10 finishes in the first half of the year, but some bad luck would get us. I'm hopeful we can keep building momentum throughout the rest of the year and consistently finish in the top half of the field."

Jason White and the GunBroker.com crew will have a couple of weeks off from the track, but will be working hard at the race shop to prepare for the next event at Nashville Superspeedway on August 9th.
