MUSGRAVE: Long Night at ORP Ends With 20th Place Finish

Ted Musgrave endured a long and frustrating evening to bring the No. 59 Team ASE/Harris Trucking Toyota across the finish line 20th in Friday night's Power Stroke Diesel 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. "We couldn't get the truck to turn all night long," Musgrave said. "You need to be able to make it turn to the bottom to be able to get under someone and make passes. We were so tight that we couldn't make the truck cut in the corner. It's frustrating because we spent a day testing at South Boston to help work on our short track setup. Indianapolis has never been one of our better tracks but I really thought we were going to be better than that." Musgrave had a difficult night after starting deep in the 34-truck field. He spent the entire race battling through traffic and trying to work on making the truck better. "It's hard on you as a driver to have to start that far back," Musgrave said. "You can pass at ORP but it's hard to do. We were able to make some moves to the front but sometimes it takes you five or six laps, and sometimes more, to get one position. It's even harder when the truck isn't handling well." Musgrave unofficially dropped one position to 15th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship standings. He is just two points behind Colin Braun for 14th and 172 points behind David Starr for tenth.
