- Keven Wood is preparing to get back in the no. 21 Ford F-150 sporting The Barnhill Group colors as a primary sponsor this weekend for the Power Stroke Diesel 200.

- This will be Keven's first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at the .686 mile oval, but he is no stranger to this type of race track. He's raced on similar tracks such as Irwindale, CA and South Boston, VA in the Whelen All American Super Late Model Series

- Since his run at Memphis, Keven has been approved by NASCAR to race on tracks up to the slower one and one-half mile track or a Kentucky Speedway type track.

Chassis Notes: Primary Truck will be chassis no. 12. This is the same chassis that was used at Martinsville Speedway with driver Jon Wood and gave an exciting run. The truck moved from the back of the pack to nearly the top 10 twice, until a late minor accident put the team one lap down and finished 28th.

Keven Wood On ORP: "I feel confident in the equipment we've got going into ORP and we can run strong there. It seems to be more like a track that I'm adjusted to and have run on before, so I'm looking forward to going there.  This will be my first race running with The Barnhill Group as our primary sponsor and I'm looking forward to seeing Randy Barnhill and his bunch along with my mom and dad, so that's pretty special and I'm just looking forward to a good, strong run for them.

My strategy is to survive, this is another little bull ring and there's a lot that's going to happen, but being there at the finish is my main goal. Coming off of Memphis, we didn't actually have the run we wanted. The changes we made weren't enough and got a little behind and just missed it. Then we got caught-up in a wreck, which I didn't want to happen, but it was just a result of being in the back."

Crew Cheif John Monsam On ORP: "Keven's learned to race around people at Memphis and that's so important in moving along in his career. He's got to gain the respect of the other drivers. As we get better and faster it's going to pay off. I'm looking forward to a good effort from everybody.
ORP is more in line with Keven's stronger points. It's a relatively flat track and I think he'll do well there as he's more accustomed to racing a track like this than anywhere else he's been to so far. I look forward to a good weekend.

Since I've been with Wood Brothers Racing, we've had a couple of good runs at the track over the past few years; it's a place that's really difficult. We're going with a package that I feel will turn in the corners well. Yet, it will have good grip up off the corner and those are really key at ORP. You've got to be really free, but get back to the gas early and you have to go hard. There are only going to be about one or two trucks that come out of ORP without damage, it's always a matter of survival. It's tough, it's physical and if you get pushed around, you're in trouble.

ORP is a finesse track, a good truck can pass. You have to set your truck up to run the bottom. The guys in the top two or three are going to have good trucks and will be able to pass. Yet, there will be those who can't make passes and they're the ones who are going to get physical and beat people around, I don't think it's racing if you have to hit somebody to pass them."
