David Starr (fifth) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Saturday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTS) event at Memphis Motorsports Park. 

Tundra drivers Mike Skinner (seventh) and Shane Sieg (ninth) also scored top-10 finishes.  It was Skinner's 10th top-10 finish in 12 races in 2008 and Sieg's best finish of the season.  

Other Toyota drivers in the field included Michael Annett (11th), Todd Bodine (14th), Terry Cook (17th), Ted Musgrave (20th), Justin Marks (24th), Marc Mitchell (31st) and Johnny Benson (33rd).  

Benson started on the pole in the No. 23 Brangus Tundra and led 43 laps.  It was his third pole of the season (Mansfield and Milwaukee) and 56th for Toyota since joining the series in 2004 (112 races).

What does this finish mean to you and this team? "I'll tell you what, everybody that's involved in this organization has endured some pretty tough luck these past couple of weeks, and all we know what to do is keep grinding.  That's what my team keeps doing.  We had a good truck yesterday in practice and made some good changes, and thought we had a really good piece for today.  Thought we had it better than a fifth-place truck, but we got a little tight in the center of the corner and couldn't get in like we needed to.  The pit stops were incredible and Jamie Jones (crew chief) made great calls.  We're looking to gain a little momentum here, and this top-five will definitely help.   Hopefully, we can get a couple of wins before the year is up."

How fun was it battling with Rick Crawford and Jack Sprague in the final laps? "We got underneath Rick Crawford on the second-to-last restart, but I was having hard time getting it into the corner.  He was able to get his truck turned and get the spot back.  Then, Jack Sprague got on the outside and we battled.  It was just good racing.   I just wish it was a little bit closer to the front.  Compared to the last few races, we'll take it.  We'll just take this and start clicking off top-fives at Kentucky in a few weeks."

Do you think the team made progress this weekend with another top-10 finish? "I don't think it's any progress, but it's a sigh of relief that we ended up with a halfway decent finish with everything that happened.  One thing that I was proud that we did do was that we made the truck better during the race.  We haven't done that in a long time.  It still (stunk), but not as bad as it did when we started."

What types of adjustments did you make during the race to improve the truck? "I think we did some track-bar adjustments and some air pressures and wedge.  It gave the truck more forward bite.  The truck was just way too tight in the center of the corner.  I'm an old short-track racer and I just started cranking rear brake to it.  I got the truck to turn and it had pretty good forward bite at the end of the race.  I didn't want to see that last caution come out, because I think we might've gotten the 2 (Jack Sprague) and the 11 (David Starr).

How happy are you with tonight's top-10 finish? "It was awesome.  I couldn't have asked for a better truck.  We got tight there at the end, but all in all, it was a good run for Billy Ballew and all these guys.  We just got too tight.  I think we had something for them in the middle of the race, and all the cautions killed us a little bit.  It was good run, though."

How is the communication coming along between you and crew chief Richie Wauters? "Richie and I are really starting to communicate pretty well.  The first race is always a struggle, but Mansfield we were on the same page, and here was great.  We were fast in practice, qualified good and ran good in the race.  Just give us a couple more races and I think we'll be competing for some wins."
