TUNDRA MEMPHIS HISTORY: Toyota Tundras have won two out of the four NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) races in which they have participated on the three-quarter-mile track at Memphis Motorsports Park. In 2007, Brad Keselowski earned the pole in the No. 9 Tundra for Germain Racing.
ELVIS EMORTALIZED: "I'm ready to put the Elvis trophy in the lobby at Germain Racing," said Bodine who scored his best NCTS finish at Memphis in 2007 with an eighth place finish. "I've had some good races there, we've had some very good Tundras there and I'm looking forward to getting a win there for the Lumber Liquidators associates in Memphis and for our guys at Germain that work so hard on our short track program."
BACK TO BACK TO BACK: Johnny Benson earned his third consecutive NCTS victory at The Milwaukee Mile on Friday night, as well as his first win of the season in the Bill Davis Racing N o. 23 Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Tundra. The Grand Rapids, Mich.-native started from the pole and led the field three times for a race-high 130 laps in the 200-lap event. "It is a little overwhelming to be able to win three races here," said Benson, following the race. "It will sink in after a day or two. Milwaukee is not too far from where I grew up, just on the other side of the lake. I've won an ASA (American Speed Association) race here, and I've come close in a Nationwide (Series) race before, but to win three truck races here in a row is just incredible."
FOUR IN TEN: Four Tundra drivers are currently in the top-10 in NCTS point standings after 11 of 25 races. Benson sits atop the standings by 50 points over second-place Bodine, Skinner (sixth) and Terry Cook (seventh).
