The Circle Bar/Power Stroke Diesel by International team will utilize chassis CB-17 this weekend at Memphis. Chassis CB-17 has visited victory lane on two separate occasions: at ORP in 2006 and at Loudon in 2005. This is the same truck that was raced last weekend in Milwaukee and led 33 laps en route to an eighth-place finish. It has also been raced to a third-place finish at Martinsville Speedway in March and finished 13th at Mansfield Motorsports Park in May.
Crawford is one of two drivers to have competed in all 10 truck series races at MMP. Crawford stands alone, however, as the only driver to have been running at the finish in all 10 races.
Crawford has completed the most laps of any driver in truck series competition at MMP (1,997), 194 laps more than his closest competitor.
Crawford will accompany fellow series drivers Brendan Gaughan, Colin Braun, Stacy Compton and Dennis Setzer on a visit to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis on Friday.
With his eighth-place finish last week at Milwaukee, Crawford maintained his fifth place standing in the driver points, and is 109 points out of the lead.
Crawford has completed all but one lap of competition in the 11 races so far this year -
1809 laps out of a possible 1810 laps.
In his truck series career, Crawford has been running at the finish of 256 races, the most of any driver in the series and a mark of 90.5%.
Crawford has logged over 48,000 miles in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition, the most of any driver in the series.
Crawford will make his 284th start - extending a Series record - this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park. Crawford's impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19, 1997.
Crawford's Thoughts on MMP: "Memphis is the home of The King of Rock N Roll and Beale Street. It's always been a good town for me as far as having a good time and great food. I enjoy my annual visit to Rendezvous Ribs. It's just a nice atmosphere downtown, but then when you go out to the track, it's short-track racing at its best. I always enjoy Memphis Motorsports Park, whether it‟s going there for the NHRA event or the O'Reilly 200. We‟re going to take the same truck that ran up front last week at Milwaukee, and the bottom line is to pick up the trophy."
