Driver Chad Chaffin is looking for a great run at one of his local tracks, Memphis Motorsports Park. The Murfreesboro, Tennessee native will take battle with his fellow Truck drivers as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series prepares for the O'Reilly 200 this Saturday night.
This weekend will mark Chaffin's seventh start in the Truck Series at Memphis Motorsports Park, and Key Motorsports' third. After an unfortunate late race accident spoiled a good run by rookie Paul Poulter at the Milwaukee Mile, the #40 Key Motorsports Chevrolet is looking to bounce back this week with Chaffin back at the wheel.
"Honestly, I just look forward to every race, but I am excited about Memphis," stated Chaffin. "This is one of the local tracks, one I've been on many times. It will be very hot, which may be the only thing I am not looking forward to, but it's always great racing at Memphis."
Crew Chief Lance Hooper could not agree more. "We are looking for a great run this weekend, especially with this being one of Chad's home tracks. He has qualified and run well at Memphis, and we are looking to keep that going."
This weekend will also mark the first race for Key Motorsports at Memphis Motorsports Park in which Chaffin will steer the #40 Chevrolet Silverado.
