Country music superstar Darryl Worley will add his distinctive sound to the roar of NASCAR at Memphis Motorsports Park this summer, headlining the post-race Comcast Concert Series for the O'Reilly 200 on Saturday night, June 28.
Since his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2000, Worley has put 15 songs on Billboard's country music charts, including three number-one singles - "I Miss My Friend," "Have You Forgotten?" and "Awful, Beautiful Life."
Worley is also host of the annual Tennessee River Run, a nine-day music fest every summer that draws thousands of fans to Savannah, Tenn., and raises thousands of dollars for the Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Ayers Children's Medical Center, Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and many other vitally important charities in West Tennessee, Northwestern Alabama and Northeast Mississippi.
The concert is presented by Comcast and included as part of the race-day ticket ($15-$45). Worley will take the stage around 10:00 p.m., right after the checkered flag flies.
NASCAR returns to Memphis Motorsports Park with Darryl Worley on June 28 for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O'Reilly 200, and with Halfway to Hazard on Oct. 25 for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Memphis 250 presented by the Southern Dodge Dealers. The concerts are included as part of Memphis Motorsports Park's season ticket package - a.k.a. the NASCAR Track Pack - which also includes premium grandstand seats for both races, the best parking for both races, access to the infield for both races, and exclusive autograph sessions on both NASCAR weekends for only $109.
