Andy Lally on Returning to Racing at Charlotte: After two weeks off from NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition, Raybestos Rookie of the Year contender Andy Lally is excited to return to racing. "As always, I can't wait to be back racing. We are starting a seven week run here where I will be experiencing a new track every week and I could not ask for anything cooler than that."
Andy Lally Goes Racing on Two Wheels: Even though Lally hasn't raced on four wheels in a few weeks, he has been able to race on two - successfully competing in his first career mountain bike race this week in the Charlotte Mountain Bike Series. "In my time off recently, I've been able to get outdoors a lot more," explained Lally. "I have been doing a lot more mountain biking since I moved to North Carolina and the weather has been so nice the last couple of weeks that I have been able to ride a lot. I even did my first race in the Charlotte Mountain Bike Series." Lally took home third-place honors.
Andy Lally on His Charlotte Chassis: "Our guys changed the fenders on this truck around a little bit to try and increase side force and I was pretty happy with this truck when we tested at Richmond with it back in April. I have not raced this truck before so we are going to find out how good it is on Friday."
The Crew Chief's Call: Chassis Selection: Andy Lally's Crew Chief, Butch Hylton, has selected TRG Motorsports' Chassis No. 18 for the 134-lap North Carolina Education Lottery 200.
