RON HORNADAY, JR., NO 33 CAMPING WORLD SILVERADO: ON RACING AT LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY: "We've had some good races at Lowe's the past couple of years. We had a top-five run there in 2006 and won last year. That was the first win for me and Rick Ren both at that track. Lowe's is a lot like Atlanta and Texas where you can carry really good speed out of the turns. We have a lot of momentum going into this race and we're looking for another strong run."

ON THE WIN AT KANSAS AND TAKING OVER THE NCTS POINTS LEAD: "It was a lot of fun. I was going to try and make a race out of it and Sprague almost caught me. But it was awesome. We unloaded fast went and sat on the pole and ran out front all day. We're leading the points now and that's great, but we've got the whole season ahead of us. We just have to keep working hard and do what we're doing to be there at the end."

JACK SPRAGUE, NO. 2 AMERICAN COMMERCIAL LINES SILVERADO: WITH LOWE'S BEING A HOME TRACK FOR MOST NASCAR TEAMS, IS THERE ADDED PRESSURE TO PERFORM? "I don't think there is really any added pressure.  It means a lot to win at any track. I have come very close to winning at Lowe's in both the Truck and Nationwide Series.  I think Lowe's is a fun track that has a lot of unique character.  Last year Ron and I were running first and second. I was closing on him and it looked like it would be another classic battle to the finish, unfortunately bad luck struck and I blew a tire going into turn two. Lowe's is one of those places I would really like to put a tally in the win column."

SINCE THE GRINDING OF THE TRACK SURFACE IN 2006, HOW HAS LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY CHANGED? "I really do not think it has changed that much.  It is still the same Charlotte it was when we began racing here.  There are the bumps in turns three and four and then the track smoothes out going into one and two.  I like the bumps. I enjoy the uniqueness of the track.  Charlotte is Charlotte and it is a lot of fun racing there."

MATT CRAFTON, NO. 88 MENARDS SILVERADO:  "We're bringing the same truck we had at Kansas.  It was a great truck for us at Kansas, and it likely would've been at least a top-5 truck if not for a deal that shouldn't have happened.  But you move on quickly in this series, and you realize that you can't control how others drive, that you have to focus on what you can control.  The guys have worked their tails off to get this truck ready for Charlotte, and we're excited to see what we can do.  We're excited to get back to Charlotte, because we've always run well here.  I was here last week with Paul Menard when he tested, and it was an opportunity to pick up some things.  As the track ages after the repaving, you're able to move up into the middle and higher grooves a little more. There's so much history here.  We're heading into the meat of our schedule now, and this is where things will start to separate a bit.  It's all about striving to run in the top-5 and compete for wins every week. We're ready to go, and hopefully it will be another strong race for us."

SHELBY HOWARD, NO. 13 THORSPORT RACING SILVERADO: "I'm excited to get back to Lowe's Motor Speedway...I think the racing will be really good.  It's always an electric atmosphere there, and the fans are great.  We didn't have the top-10 finish we were shooting for at Kansas, but we keep improving and we're finding our way.  The guys are working so hard for me, and I really appreciate it.  We'll keep learning and getting better.  I think there are some good things around the corner for us."

BRIAN SCOTT, NO. 16 SHARK ENERGY DRINK/ALBERTSONS SILVERADO: "Charlotte definitely has a lot of history. It has a reputation as the beast of the southeast for a good reason. It will jump up and bite you. It can be very unforgiving. Everybody's game gets stepped up a notch when they race there just because everyone wants to claim success on their home turf. As a driver you know that everybody is watching and that there is a lot of intense focus on this weekend with both the All-Star event and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. This is really one of our two biggest events, maybe second only to Daytona. You know you have to step it up, be really focused and be hitting on all cylinders at Lowe's Motor Speedway. A good showing at Charlotte would mean everything. Most of all it would mean a continuation with the type of progress we have been showing and indicative of the good runs we have been having. It would be really nice to be there at the end with an opportunity to get a good finish and not have the late race misfortune that we have had with some races this year. A top ten finish or even better a top 5 would be great for our Albertsons team."

CHAD MCCUMBEE, NO. 8 MALCOLSOM CONSTRUCTION SILVERADO: "Everyone always looks forward to Lowes in May.  Being a North Carolina native it has been a really cool month for me already because of getting to run in Rockingham and now going straight to Lowes.  We had a really solid run in Kansas and hopefully that will continue this weekend.  We are getting closer and closer to a pole and a win and I can't think of a better place to have the first of each that at Lowes."
