The Circle Bar/Power Stroke Diesel by International team will utilize chassis CB-21 this weekend at LMS. Chassis CB-21 was the team's workhorse on the mile-and-a-half tracks until it was damaged in a last-lap melee at Texas last fall, yet still finished fifth. Since then the truck has been rebuilt, tested at Pocono Speedway and finished ninth at Kansas Speedway in the series' last event.
Crawford is one of six drivers to have competed in all five NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Crawford took over the second spot in the driver point standings following a ninth-place finish at Kansas Speedway. Currently 61 points out of the lead, the last time Crawford was in this position was following the June 28, 200, race at The Milwaukee Mile.
Crawford has not finished a race outside of the top 15 since Kentucky last season, a stretch of 17 consecutive races.
In 277 career Craftsman Truck Series starts, Crawford has posted 140 top-10 finishes - a mark of 50.5%.
In his truck series career, Crawford has been running at the finish of 250 races, the most of any driver in the series and a mark of 90.3%.
Crawford has logged over 47,000 miles in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, the most of any driver.
Crawford will make his 278th start - extending a Series record - this weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Crawford's impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19, 1997.
CRAWFORD'S THOUGHTS ON LMS: "The paving job they did there made the track faster, but you're never going to get rid of characteristics of Lowe's Motor Speedway. The new surface took away from some of the experimenting you could do with setups, and because Goodyear got the tire right, it makes the speeds higher and allows for greater side-by-side racing."
ON BEING SECOND IN THE DRIVER STANDINGS: "It's a little early to be focusing on points. Yeah, we're second in points, but one bad race and you're back to 10th in points. It's hard to have a bad race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and be the champion at the end of the season. You need each and every week to be important, and we want to win and there's nothing wrong with winning across the street from your race shop. The tradition that this race track has and its location, just the legends that have raced here makes it special. I've always said that the legends of racing have paved the race tracks for guys like myself, and that makes every race track special."
