Andy Lally On His First Trip to The Kansas Oval: "I have been trying
to watch every bit of footage I can get my hands on from Kansas. I was able to
get a hold of Dennis Setzer's in car footage from two years ago and that was
very helpful, he had a pretty eventful race and being able to watch a veteran
like that go through all the different issues he faced during that race may help
me make the right choice when I have multiple places to go in a bad situation.
It also helped me learn the line as well."
... on Three Weekends Without Racing: "I never like being out of the car
for long especially in this case where I still have a lot to learn in our Chevy
Silverado. We were able to do two days of testing at Richmond and I think we
improved our truck there a bit and I also think I improved as well. I want to
get the weekend rolling at Kansas and get our program rolling in the right
direction, I believe so much in this team and I am so proud of the work that
they do. I'm eager to get to the track and see what we have gained."
Andy Lally To Sign Autographs at the Kansas City Dream Factory: Andy
Lally is scheduled to make an appearance at a charity event that is scheduled on
Thursday, April 24th by the Kansas City Dream Factory (
www.kcdream.org ). This is a wish granting
organization for kids with life-threatening illnesses. A local Kansas City car
dealer, McCarthy Autogroup, has generously donated a 2008 Chevy Corvette to the
Dream Factory in order to help raise money to continue the program. Andy Lally
will sign autographs from 6-9 p.m. to help boost ticket sales for the raffle of
the Corvette. For more information, please visit

The Crew Chief's Call: Chassis Selection: Andy Lally's Crew Chief, Butch
Hylton, has selected TRG Motorsports' Chassis No. 80 for the 167-lap O'Reilly
Auto Parts 250. This truck was purchased from Waltrip Motorsports and was last
raced at Atlanta Motor Speedway and California Speedway; producing 22nd and 29th
place finishes respectively.
